Viewmaster Reels, Viewer, and Storage Box
for sale
The viewer is of the older design (1940's or 50's ?). We do not know much about Viewmasters. Some of these reels may be from larger sets; it looks as though there are several that would have been part of multi-reel sets. This assortment is being sold as-is; we do not have the other reels or know where to get them.
All the reels we checked are viewable and mostly clean, with the exception of a couple frames with "smudges" or permanent marks that detract seriously from the image (listed, where noticed). The viewer is clean and works well, although in the picture it appears the lenses are hazy. This is mostly an artifact caused by the way the light hit the piece during photography.
In the few reels where cars are shown, they look like 1940's models. Some of these places undoubtedly look quite different from when these pictures were taken 50 or more years ago.

There are also a couple of empty Viewmaster envelopes and some blank Manila card dividers. The plastic box lid has a chip out of one corner (see picture). Overall the condition is good; however, this assortment is being sold as-is.
